About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Autoflex customer app, the Autoflex provider app or this website. They are an agreement between you and Autoflex Commercial Brokerage – Sole Proprietorship L.L.C. ("Autoflex"), licensed in Abu Dhabi (licence CN-4831266). By creating an account or making a booking, you accept them.
Providers who list on Autoflex also sign a separate Service Provider Agreement. If it conflicts with these terms, the Service Provider Agreement applies to the provider.
What Autoflex does
Autoflex is a booking platform. It lets car owners find and book independent service providers, and it collects payment on the provider's behalf.
Autoflex does not wash, tint, repair or change anything on your car. Each service is supplied by the provider you book, who is responsible for doing it properly, safely and in line with the law. Providers are not Autoflex employees or agents.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate details.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for bookings made from your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud, or abuses providers or staff.
Bookings
- A booking is confirmed when the provider accepts it in the app.
- Give an accurate location and make sure the car is accessible at the booked time, with any access or parking permissions needed.
- Remove valuables from the car. Neither Autoflex nor the provider is responsible for items left inside.
- The provider may decline or stop a job if the location is unsafe, the car is not accessible, or the work cannot be done as booked.
Prices and payment
- Each provider sets its own prices. The price is shown in the app before you confirm.
- Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). Payment is taken by card through our licensed payment gateway.
- Autoflex collects the payment, keeps its commission and passes the rest to the provider.
Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel a booking in the app. Any cancellation conditions that apply are shown in the app before you book.
- If a provider cancels or does not arrive, you receive a full refund to your card.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with. How quickly they appear depends on your bank.
Problems with a service
If something goes wrong, tell us within 48 hours through the app, WhatsApp (+971 50 344 4224) or info@autoflex.ae, with photos if you can. We will raise it with the provider and help you reach a fair outcome, which may include a repeat service or a refund.
Claims for damage to your car are made against the provider who did the work. Autoflex will share the provider's details and help you contact them.
Providers
- Providers must hold, and keep valid, a UAE trade licence for every service they list.
- Providers must follow the law, including municipal rules on where services may be carried out.
- Providers are responsible for their workers, equipment, materials and insurance.
- Autoflex may remove a provider that loses its licence or receives repeated serious complaints.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the apps, try to access other people's accounts, or interfere with how the platform works.
- Do not arrange to pay a provider outside the app for jobs found through Autoflex.
- Treat providers, workers, customers and staff with respect.
Liability
Autoflex provides the platform as it is and works to keep it available, but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent UAE law allows, Autoflex is not liable for the way a provider performs a service, for indirect or consequential losses, or for any amount above the value of the booking concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
The Autoflex name, logo, apps and website belong to Autoflex. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it applies. Continuing to use Autoflex after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The courts of Abu Dhabi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
If these terms exist in Arabic and English and the two differ, the Arabic version prevails.
